Thanks friends and Partners;

As we now prepare for the November 19th.. Thanksgiving Rally, last year with your help, we gave away hundreds of food baskets to families in DC.  As indicated by pictures below, the impact of helping families have food on the table was our objective.    We need your help again this year to provide families on welfare, and possible families who have been laid off with food for their  Thanksgiving dinner.  We will disburse boxes of food this year at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church located at 215 Rhode island Ave. NW at 10:00am. The door opens at 9:00am, and food baskets will be given out on a first come, first to receive basis. See you there, please consider donating a food basket for a family or four and bring it with you to the church on the day of the rally.

To Accomplish our mission,
The EXTENSION Center annually sponsors 6 Special Event Outreach Rallies and  through our Positive Alternative Skill Building Mentoring/Vocational Training Programs we tutor children and youth and  provide Job Readiness Skill Development/ Scholarships/ Workshops for youth and adults.
